Field Engagement Specialist: FT: Fall River

The Field Engagement Specialist is a role that is equal parts customer engagement and activation; event based lead generation; and key account management. This person will help deploy the strategy of the Sunshine Engagement Team, driving grass roots lead generation through activation of our Sunshine Network of loyal customers, partners, and advocates.

The Position
We're looking to continue to build our rockstar Field Engagement team in your area! The Field Engagement Specialist (FES) will leverage direct door-to-door marketing techniques, as well as event activations to excite potential customers about the idea of going solar! The FES will also partner with new customers that made the switch to Sungevity in order to help them spread the word and generate referrals. Top Sfunsters will be invited to work select events with targeted prospects to generate leads. You should be highly motivated to engage existing customers and potential customers by utilizing various marketing vehicles to build a truly differentiated marketing channel; these include the Sungevity Ice Pop truck, grassroots event marketing tactics, community outreach, customer calls and visits, seamless customer transitions with the inside sales team, and neighborhood level marketing penetration.

Responsibilities
Ongoing 1:1 outreach to customers to inspire and drive referral behavior, including phone calls, email and in person communications.
Customer visits and neighborhood activation
Planning and executing customer appreciation events
Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns integrate brand and tactical goals and are executed in a timely manner
Capture best practices for future expansion of the direct 1:1 engagement program
Create and test creative and differentiated high touch strategies, which lead to higher customer engagement and increased referral activity
Event planning and attendance to generate leads
Some travel required
Qualifications
BA/BS degree required, preferably in Marketing/Communications or other related discipline
Minimum of 1 year in sales, campaigning, canvasing , direct marketing or fund raising experience
Grassroots community activation experience a plus
Self-starter, Autonomous
A drive to succeed with a positive attitude and high energy - Results and Action-Oriented
Ability to initiate conversation with individuals and groups
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Creative problem-solver who works well independently as well as part of a team
Passion for solar industry preferred
Willing and able to be outside and walk for extended periods
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record that meets Sungevity's criteria and a willingness to travel (this position will require traveling to specific sites)
18 years of age minimum
Multilingual a plus
Weekends Required

$36,000 base + Bonus Plan - Commission up to $10K+

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
