Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Functions as role model to staff by performing all store functions as necessary, demonstrating good work habits, encouraging clean and safe work habits and promoting positive attitudes toward customers.
Oversees sales and maximizes profits of the store.
Monitors sales objectives and develops plan to meet goals; analyzes variances and initiates corrective action to reach goals.
Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
Communicates, executes and manages established marketing and merchandising plan.
Instructs store staff regarding job responsibilities on an ongoing basis.
Maintains and stocks inventory, and prices products according to pricing as set forth by the corporate office.
Performs out-bound marketing and solicitation calls to potential leads; follows up on all open sales leads.
Maintains store standards in accordance with corporate policy.
Performs store opening and closing procedures in accordance with company policy.
Provides exceptional customer service and ensures the employees also provide the same level of service.
Ensures interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards.
Manages store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to bank.
Ensures cash drawers are reconciled accurately on a daily basis.
Minimizes and resolves customer complaints through effective customer service in accordance with store policy.
Reports any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to the appropriate parties immediately.
Provides sufficient staffing for store needs at all times.
Develops and approves schedules based on weekly store needs; approves paid time off requests to ensure appropriate coverage.
Receives and examines deliveries for discrepancies and resolves problems promptly.
Maintains a flexible work schedule including evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation:
Salary, plus commission and bonus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages number of subordinates based on store location. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the store unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/
Experience:
College degree preferred
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in Portuguese helpful.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; and database software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
