50 an hour The Order Picker/Packer will be responsible for picking and packing shipments.
The Order Picker/Packer is responsible for inbound shipment labeling and warehousing.
The Order Picker/Packer picks product for the production floor.
This role is for someone with an eye for detail, that can properly review incoming shipments and notify the appropriate team members and vendors in a timely manner.
The position is located at our headquarters in Fall River, MA and will report to the Director of Warehouse Operations.
DETAILED
Responsibilities:
Quickly and accurately pick orders from warehouse.
Neatly and safely package all outgoing orders.
Ensure that any customer requirements for packaging are met.
Ensure that any customer specific packing slips are included with order.
Ability to ask for help or direction from Supervisors if unsure of how to pack an order.
Ability to support LTL/freight shipments including filling out breakdown sheets.
Communicate effectively with warehouse management, leads, and QC.
Maintain a neat and orderly packing work area.
Maintain a neat and organized warehouse.
Help in other teams/departments as necessary.
EDUCATION AND / OR
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Previous experience in order picking SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Written and verbal communication skills Organized with great follow through abilities LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Follows proper procedures and directions.

Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise employees.
