Human Resources Assistant

Partners Professional is seeking a strong HR Assistant to assist with our client location in Fall River, MA.
This is a part-time, long-term contract position.
Those with knowledge and experience working in the manufacturing industry are preferred.
Days/Hours:
3 - 4 days a week for 4 - 8 hours a day, this position is slotted to last until the end of 2024 Payrate:
$20 - $30/hr.

Essential Functions:
Assist HR Manager with recruitment, attendance tracking, maintain employee records, assist with payroll and time keeping processing and provide administrative support to all employees.
Serves as a proactive member of the local HR and operations staff; provide input on decisions that affect facility operations.
In cooperation with local and corporate HR support functions, this individual will be support the Company's human resources policies, programs, and services, including full cycle recruitment/selection, completion of reports, payroll, HRIS system administration; as well as training, retention, compensation, legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices/procedures, employee communications and employee events.
Foster a workplace environment consistent with the Company's values and mission outlined by the leadership of the company.
o Prepare weekly summary sheets for hourly workforce for input by corporate payroll.
o Review weekly timekeeping from system for hourly employees to ensure completed and timely.
Reconcile any discrepancies to ensure employees are paid correctly and time is charged correctly.
o Providing timely assistance to employees regarding payroll, benefit and human resource questions.
o Process all required new employee onboarding communication.
o Maintain employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance.
o Assist with recruiting activities for hourly personnel to include screening, scheduling interviews and follow-up with hiring managers.
o Assist with new hire orientations, including proper completion of all required paperwork.
o Assist employees with training in the system to include the mobile application.
o Assist in preparing documents and coordinating, distribution and collection, of all benefits enrollments.
o Maintain site bulletin boards with regard to posting of corporate news and business updates, personnel announcements, site news and similar information to ensure that employees remain informed of all relevant activities.
o Monitor and coordinate process to maintain training data base, including setting up class schedules, entering test results, and proctor-specific training classes.
o Maintain badge and security systems to include creating all new badges.
o Enter attendance points in weekly site attendance tracker.
o Assist department with reporting and analysis while ensuring data integrity.
o Assisting in preparation of special events such as Year End Celebration and other office or company gatherings.
o Perform administrative duties such as order event lunches, order office supplies and create UPS shipments for small packages.
o Provide day-to-day support of department functions, organization of daily tasks and workflow.
o Enter, retrieve, and analyze various information.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills/Education/Training/Certifications/
Qualifications:
Ability to plan and accomplish goals and work under pressure.
Strong computational skills and the ability to conceptualize and understand technical reports, data, drawings, etc.
Intermediate level of computer proficiency Problem-solving and prioritization/organizational skills Ability to multi-task, and handle multiple projects at a time and work under pressure Able to work with a high level of accuracy Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent preferred Minimum 2-4 years generalist HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; must have a firm grasp of recruiting practices, employment law, and the basics of FMLA, ADA, EEO Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Ability to travel occasionally to Corporate, recruiting sites, other PLZ sites, and local schools Recommended Skills Administration Coordinating Employee Benefits Human Resources Human Resources Information System (Hris) Labor Relations Apply to this job.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
