Food Service Director
Job Description:
The Food Service Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Nursing Facility.
This individual will be responsible for the supervision and management of the front of the house, back of the house, and all areas of food preparation and service.
The Food Service Director will oversee staff and assist in training employees to ensure high quality customer service is provided at all times.
The Food Service Director will also assist in general food preparation, kitchen operations, and cleaning duties as needed.
Core Functions:
Manage staff and schedules for all shifts Ensure that all open restaurant hours are met within the shifts schedule Ensure proper food quality and temperature Assist in opening and closing restaurant Assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed Assist in cleaning up restaurant after closing to ensure safety standards are met (overtime may be required) Ensure proper waste management procedures are followed at all times Perform inventory counts on a regular basis to ensure proper food supply levels within restaurants Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
At least one (1) years experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
Strong leadership, team, and conflict resolution skills.
