Thriving for decades in the birthplace of the American sewing industry since 1955, we have offered various services, including production for the Garment Industry, product development, warehousing, and distribution.
The Warehouse Team is looking for Full or Part-Time Warehouse Packer to prepare outgoing shipments per outgoing shipment schedules and directions.
You will perform efficiently with great attention to detail in a warehouse and dispatch environment.
This is an opportunity with a commercial warehouse for a position that offers longevity and stability while working in an active, team oriented, fast-paced, and positive environment.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Carefully pack items to be shipped to customers.
Mostly clothes, shoes, bags etc.
Pay special attention to priority orders and sellers packing instructions.
Review customer order sheets for products from multiple companies and follow company shipping guide instructions for entering data into the correct shipping software to prepare shipping labels paying special attention to Bill to and Ship to details.
Affix proper shipping labels and assemble outgoing packages for pick-up by designated carriers.
Sort paperwork appropriately for invoices.
May account for canceled and duplicate orders in the system.
Operate handling equipment, adhering to safety regulations Performs other general warehouse duties as needed Skills and
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and speak English fluently Good interpersonal and communication skills Familiar with basic organization and administrative skills.
Good understanding of customer care skills Good computer skills Work well in a team but also self-motivated to work independently Solutions-minded and eager to learn new skills Reliable and responsible work ethic Skilled in task prioritization and time management Focused on accuracy with keen attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and to lift up to 50 pounds.
Some experience with dispatch and warehouse activities is helpful but not required.
